Oak Grove High School returned to Tennessee Williams Festival this year for the first time in 4 years. They, under the direction of Suzanne Allmon, swept the Monologue Competition for the first time, recieved the Judge's Choice award, and received third place in the Scene Competition. " I am extremely proud of the seven students I took to this festival. They worked really hard and it definitely paid off", said Director Suzanne Allmon. Noel Anderson, Christian Green, Logan Little, Sam Moore, Chloe Rouse, Austin Seeley, and  Kandis Stewart participated in the festival held in Clarksdale, MS on September 26 and 27, 2008. Along with the trophies given out, there is also a monetary award that accompanies it for the Department.  This weekend these students won $1100 to help fund their Scottish Quest.
