Mrs. Allmon does just about every adult job needed in the OG Theatre Department. For the past 15 years, she has been the Director, Producer, Stage manager, and Costume maker for every Oak Grove production. She has directed over 90 productions at Oak Grove.
She is Past President of Just Over The Rainbow Theatre, MTA Theatre for Youth Chair, MTA Secondary Chair, MTA Treasurer, MTA Vice President, and is currently MTA President. She is also SETC's Secondary Vice Chair. She is the Chair of the Fine Arts Department at Oak Grove.
She is the teacher of all of the freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior theatre classes and the School Sponsor/Director at all competitions. Mrs. A. has won Best Director on every level of competition and has adjudicated other state's festivals and the SETC Secondary Festival.
We are also very proud that Mrs. A was named the Thad Cochran Distinguished Arts Educator in Theatre in 2010!
But out of all these jobs the most important job is one as our inspiration!
